Some of you may remember my post that I wrote about Nikki. Nikki has Lyme disease and has been battling this debilitating disease since 2008. When she spoke out about her struggle and urged her friends to watch a documentary on Lyme disease…I watched it that night on Netflix. I could not believe one tick could cause such heartache and illness.
The slide show below is made up of photos that were taken while Nikki was going through hyperbaric chamber dives in Destin. I decided to surprise her and document a dive to raise awareness. We chatted about raising awareness and Nikki’s mother Connie was determined to put on an event in the local area of Crestview. Well, this is it friends! It’s Key Lyme Time!!! Please show your support for this family, but also for the thousands of people who suffer from Lyme Disease. An event will be held this Saturday, May 11th at the Old Spanish Trail Festival site in Crestview from 12-6pm. This event will have live music,food, and plenty of fun for the kids!
