Such a fun family! They wanted their session to be about how much they enjoy their Panama City getaway with their two and four legged kids. So good times were in order… fetch, swimming, and a little gymnastics! The color of November sunsets is just magnificent and this day did not disappoint. I love sessions that involve pets, and on the beach, retrievers are just such a blast because they can’t wait to get wet. Can you tell we all had a great time? – Lily

This session was a blast! Me, Amy and her Mother went on such a fun little adventure. We hopped out of the car and got some great shots everywhere we went. I am so excited to share some of these photos with you! I had to wait till tonight after Amy and Kyle’s wedding to post these amazing photos of Amy. I love this girl! Amy has become such a great friend and I was so very honored when she asked me to photograph her wedding. Amy owns Baby and Me Boutique and if you haven’t been…you must go! She is a very smart business woman and is super kind to all of her customers. I just photographed her bridals and I wish I could post them, but we can’t give away the awesomeness of her fabulous dress and accessories. This engagement session was a little nutty! We raced to get to Eden State Park to meet Kyle and we only had 45mins to get everything. I think I did pretty good under the pressure and these two were absolutely hilarious. I love the way he looks at her and I love how she crinkles her nose when she smiles at him. Gah! Sooo romantic! Stay tuned for their fabulous wedding! Enjoy!
Beach portraits start slowing down for me around this time because most out of town clients go back home when school starts. This family planned the perfect time to come! September and October are beautiful months to come vacation along the Emerald Coast. It was the perfect session! Fun family and beautiful weather. Now, Grandma is the one who really wanted these photographs most of all. She understood the importance of documenting such a special time in their lives. Little Cohen is the FIRST Grand baby! How exciting! He is super precious too and already full of personality!
It always happens to me that I find my self connecting with my clients in some way. Alicia ( Little Cohen’s Mama) saw a very faded number on the back of my calf as we were walking down the beach. I for one didn’t realize anyone would notice it because I tried so very hard to scrub it off.lol I participated in a CrossFit event that weekend and she wanted to know what I was involved in. I was excited to mention my CrossFit addiction and come to find out…she was totally into CrossFit as well! Instant connection and we couldn’t stop talking about it before and after the session.
