Scott and Allison Engagement Session Rosemary Beach Florida

I am sitting here at the computer snickering over what I am about to post. I’m such a dork, but that’s okay because these new favorite dorky friends I have… totally get me. Basically Allison begged me to photograph her wedding in Orlando this November and after I told her to get up off the ground because she didn’t need to beg…I said “Yes!” Okay, not really. I am so very funny and she is laughing out loud over my last statement.  I have one common bond with these folks that stands out above any other and that’s The Office. Do you need anything else in common with someone? No. Do I need to explain why I enjoy their company so much. No. The Office. Bam! That’s all you need to know.

I think I might just narrate while you view these images. I think it’s very fitting to do so and so we shall begin. Enjoy!

PS. To enhance the story I will be fabricating on a few details, but nonetheless it’s a true story. 😉

Scott picked Allison up at Publix. He was the Assistant to the Regional Manager. She was just a lonely cashier.

After Scott swept Allison right off her feet and into the cart. He took her to his trailer down by the river. He promised he would fix up the place and build actual stairs to their future love nest. Allison was in after that and fell madly in love.

Scott was sure to warn Allison that once she was his woman..she would have to bleed blue blood and they would have to wear matching jumpsuits.

Allison went through vigorous training to become a baller..shot caller. Scott was impressed and so he proposed.

They ate lots of ice cream and frolicked on the beach. To be continued November 2011…..

The “B” Family- Fort Walton Beach Photographer

I had the pleasure of photographing the “B” family while dad, Bryce, was stationed at Eglin for training. Since they were here for just a few weeks they were able to enjoy their time as a family by staying on Okaloosa Island. I met them for a Sunrise shoot in early April. Check out some of my favorites!

Twin Beach Session Santa Rosa Beach, Florida

My first double mint shoot! No, not really, but these ladies could totally be in that commercial! Remember those? I had a blast photographing these two beautiful sisters! They share the same birthday as me and pretty much love to laugh just as much as I do. 😉 This was a very important session marking their first shoot as TEENAGERS! Wow! Yea, remember those times? Crazy! These beautiful girls are so stinking talented and so is their Mama. Their Mama is Brenda from As You Like It  Salon and Spa and I know you have heard me talk about this fabulous salon before!  I suggest you take a trip to this fabulous place and treat yourself to a day of beauty. Thank you ladies for allowing me to take part in such a special time in your lives! You two still had me laughing while going through your images. Enjoy!

Southern Child Magazine: Lil Sisters Folk Art & Veggies

We have some great friends. Talented, creative, supportive, and generally some of the most awesome people on the planet and some times they let us take their pictures! One is Folk Artist Alan Moore, who we’ve had the great fun of helping with and documenting some of his creative projects.  Check out Dining With Rosetta and the Devil and the Barn from 2008-2010. Alan, alongside his daughters Isabella and Emma, launched Lil’ Sister’s Folk Art and Veggies last year. The girls passion and creativity bely their young ages, and they are putting out some beautiful and inspiring work. It was no surprise that they were chosen for the April/May cover story in Southern Child Magazine. We shot the cover art as well as some of the photos inside the article…check out and tell us what you think!

7 under 7! Destin Family Beach Portraits

7 little hands and feet! 7 little smiles! This is one blessed Grandma & Grandpa, that’s for sure! Because of the number of kids, Grandma opted for only one shot, focusing on just the whole family. Ice cream was promised. The whole shoot took under 10 minutes and the the family LOVED the result! -Lily
