The Family That Plays Together…. Santa Rosa Beach Photographer

I don’t know if I can write very much about this family. I think the photos below will explain their story very well, but allow me to narrate. 😉 Below you will see the two crazy kids that started it all. I asked Mr. Hale to give Mrs.Hale his best pick up line. Well, I don’t really know how he got the girl, but he did. I am guessing he was a lot smoother back in the day. 😛

Eden State Park Family Shoot Santa Rosa Beach Photographer

It is always a lot of fun to shoot your friends. I get to boss them around and be obnoxious. 😉 My very good friend flew all the way from Japan with her family so that she could book a session with me. Yea…I know..pretty amazing. Okay! The jig is up and do I wanna say I was part of the reason they flew from the other side of the world…sure…that sounds nice huh? 😉

I went to school with Krystan and Nick which is a really funny story. I met Krystan in 5th grade when I moved to this little country town. Krystan vaguely remembers me making fun of her because she never brushed her hair, but I was an angel so I have no idea what she is talking about. We became friends on and off in high school and Nick was the sarcastic little punk in the back of the class that I never really knew, but laughed at his comments. I never would have put these two together ,but they are actually pretty perfect for one another and they make cute kids. Well,the kids look just like Krystan when you see these photos because she has strong white girl genes for real! Alright enough story telling, but I do have some pretty funny stories about Krystan and I am always willing to share if she upsets me.lol All joking aside Krystan has really been there for me through some crazy times. Motherhood isn’t an easy thing and we have taken the journey together. I couldn’t be more blessed to have her in my inner circle. Alrighty below you will find two kids who never wanted to stay still and two parents who really wanted them too, but gave up the first 5 minutes of the session.lol I love my job. 🙂

Tiffany and Chris Crestview Florida

Come One! Come All!

This wedding was amazing to be apart of and my first carnival themed wedding! Another first for me was shooting at a new venue that was just opened up for events this past year. Funny thing is…is that I have passed this beautiful house since I was 12 always stating that I would love to live there one day and 15yrs later I was able to shoot a beautiful wedding at the Jernigan House.

Tiffany wanted every part of her special day to be unique and fun. They had popcorn popping and the smell of cotton candy was in the air. All of the bridesmaids wore different styled black dresses and fabulous multi colored shoes of their choice! The groomsmen wore suspenders with bow ties and newsboy caps….with the exception of Paddy who had to wear a sweater vest, but the squeaky wheel always gets the grease right?!(I kid..I kid) Paddy and Lily actually approached me to shoot this wedding a few months ago and of course I was honored that they would chose me to photograph their best friends wedding. You should go check out their work…their pretty dang awesome and drop dead sexy.

Well, back to the details…..another first for me was during the ceremony they opened up part of it to praise and worship. Ugh…yea..pretty amazing and such a beautiful moment. This wedding was a beautiful celebration of two people coming together along with their family and friends. Congrats Tiffany and Chris! On with the show…

It’s not a double rainbow, but it is still pretty neat how it showed up. 🙂

Newborn Portraits Niceville Newborn Photographer Niceville, Florida

I love chubby babies. I could basically sum up the whole blog post and just tell you that chubby babies steal my heart. Don’t worry if you come to me and your baby isn’t chubby…I will steal whatever sugar they have, but I am a little partial to the chubby one’s because my first born was Mr. Chubb. 😉 I had the pleasure of photographing this little stud just the other day and he is a little chunk. He has the most beautiful little lips and the best “serious” face I have ever seen on a newborn. It was the best! He stayed wide awake during the whole photo shoot, but Mama told me he fell asleep on the way home.lol What a ham for the camera! I tend to not spend hours trying to put a baby to sleep…if they don’t wanna fall asleep in the first 20mins…then I move on. 😉 He was super alert and if that’s how he rolls…then I can roll with it. 🙂 I am so very excited for the next session I have with this beautiful family. I cannot wait to meet Little F’s big brother!

Megan’s Senior Portraits -Crestview High Senior Portrait Photographer

Our first attempt at Megan’s Senior Portraits was back in July. It was *so* hot, we were all pretty much dying. The session went great but we didn’t get to one location we had wanted to include, so we decided to add a part 2 to her shoot. This one took place in an open field near my house. And even though it was still warm, it wasn’t sweltering. I love the combo of her simple white dress, brown boots, and the golden light…beautiful! Her friend Kayla was there too, and joined in for some pics as well. Megan & Kayla have been friends since they were little little, which makes a couple of the shots toward the end extra great!
